Mayoral candidates often say they are for the little people, but a new report says it’s the rich people who are almost completely funding their campaigns.

Alisa Kaplan, policy director for the group Reform for Illinois, says a study of donations to Chicago mayoral campaigns last year shows less than 1.5 percent of the contributions came from people giving $150 or less.

Top fundraiser Bill Daley’s top 13 donors gave him half his money.
