Campaign finance debated as Hinsdale District 86 school election begins

There are still a few days left for candidates to file petitions, and the election is not until April, but at least one local political action group is already poised to try to influence the race for Hinsdale Township High School board.
The candidates, as of Tuesday evening, running for three spots on the board are incumbents Jennifer Planson of Willowbrook and Richard Skoda of Hinsdale and potential newcomers to the board Gregory Gershuny of Hinsdale, Kathleen Hirsman of Clarendon Hills, and Bill Carpenter of Darien.
