Ex-Gov. John Rowland found guilty of corruption on 7 counts

NEW HAVEN >> Former Gov. John G. Rowland was found guilty of campaign corruption charges stemming from his involvement in the failed 2012 5th District congressional campaign of Lisa Wilson-Foley and 2010 campaign of another candidate.
Jurors had listened to weeks of testimony on allegations that Rowland conspired to perform political work for two congressional campaigns while keeping the payments hidden from election regulators.
