“THE BUZZ — There was all kind of spin in the wake of a new We Ask America poll showing gubernatorial candidate Daniel Biss in second place, moving ahead of Chris Kennedy in the Democratic primary. The poll showed Pritzker with about 30 percent, Biss at 17 percent and Kennedy at 11 percent. Crain’s called the race “wide open” because 38 percent of those polled were undecided. (See the poll)

The best spin, of course, is to release your own numbers. This morning (just as we were about to hit send) Team Pritzker released a short polling memo. Global Strategy Group, which conducted live telephone calls for its research, showed Pritzker 20 points ahead of Biss and far fewer undecided votes.”
