RFI ED speaks at League of Women Voters event about RCV in Evanston
RFI ED Alisa Kaplan spoke at a League of Women Voters event this week about the ranked choice voting (RCV) referendum on the ballot in Evanston this November.
“One of the big advantages of ranked-choice voting is you should have to think less strategically,” she said. “You should be able to decide to vote for who you want to vote for, instead of for the lesser of two evils, or the person that you think you has the best chance of winning. It’s about letting voters express their voice in a more powerful way.”
