Sludge covers press conference for Chicago public campaign financing proposal
Sludge covered a press conference, hosted earlier this week by Ald. Matt Martin (47th) and Reform for Illinois, along with other coalition partners, about the new Chicago Fair Elections ordinance.
RFI Executive Director Alisa Kaplan described the proposal as “a powerful anti-corruption tool that can provide a much-needed boost to the public’s trust in city government”.
